Total Commander was initially called Windows Commander, they had to rename it as Microsoft has all the rights. Total Commander is an orthodox file manager, which allows the comparison between them, navigation (that's why windows) between compressed files and has an FTP client so you can link your files with websites you may be designing or maintaining.

The great advantage of this program is that it allows access to the different partitions of a computer, even if they are from different operating systems. With only one screen you will be able to see which files you have in one part of the computer and what you have in the other.
